Emails From The Past …

Emails From The Past …

Dear  بأمينالأفكار

I was going through my emails this past long weekend… and I started from a “yahoo” account my ex-husband set up for me… then I moved on to the hotmail one…

There were 2-3 emails that were with love and care… the rest well it broke my heart… I use to send sweet loving email to my husband, the sad thing was he use to reply to them criticising every sentence, at that time I was naive, and kept it so bottled inside of me, that now I know that this is what makes me afraid to “love” someone again.

Words are things someone can never forget, yes they can be forgiven but they leave an imprint on the heart and mind that is so deep that cannot be forgotten… It makes me think was I so unworthy of a little love and care? Or maybe I cared too much and hid the hurt from the world never wanting anyone to know the hurt you where putting me through. …

“Sticks and stones may break my bones,

But names will never hurt me.

And this I knew was always true

And truth would not desert me.

But now I know it is not so,

I’ve learned the other part;

For sticks and stones may break the bones,

But words can break the heart.

Yes, sticks and stones may break the bones

And leave the spirit whole;

But unkind words can break the spirit,

And silently crush the soul.”

… Near Home.

 … Near Home.

Dear  بأمين الأفكار

I so did not know how to “header” this.. so “near home” came to mind,,, as it is near home 🙂

Sabie, a place near home, beautiful peaceful, with amazingly beautiful waterfalls… yip a lil piece of heaven ;)…. we always go with guest, n let them enjoy it… this time we went for ourselves … with the kids… just to have fun n enjoy ourselves, it was so worth it… we looked at the beauty, enjoyed it and happy to call it our home 🙂

Sometimes one needs to be like a “tourist” in their own home place to appreciate, what they have 🙂

I hope that my pictures would do a lil justice to what’s it like ;)… but as the saying goes “no picture really does justice.”

As Promised 3rd Stop Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

As Promised 3rd Stop Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

Dear بأمين الأفكار

Uhm what to say, I had to go, believe me 2 years ago I was so not into really fast rides, now I simply love it . I guess when you go through some life and feeling changes in your life you change.

Now a little about Ferrari World Abu Dhabi….

2005, it was reported that Ferrari and Aldar Properties signed an agreement to build the world’s first Ferrari theme park in Abu Dhabi. At the time it was expected that the park was to open in 2008, however, delays saw it bumped back until 2010. Construction began in November 2008 and was completed in under two years. In mid 2010, it was announced that Ferrari World would open on October 28, 2010. This opening was delayed by a week due to the passing of Ras-al-Khaimahs leader the day prior. Ferrari World officially opened to the public on November 4, 2010.

The iconic roof of Ferrari World was designed by Benoy Architects. It is modelled after the side profile of a Ferrari GT. Ramboll provided the structural engineering, master planning and urban design, geotechnical engineering and the facade engineering. The roof has a total surface area of 200,000 square metres (2,200,000 sq ft) with a perimeter of 2,200 metres (7,200 ft). The theme park, measuring 86,000 square metres (930,000 sq ft), is located under this 50 metres (160 ft) high roof. These factors make Ferrari World the largest indoor theme park in the world.

A Ferrari logo adorns the roof of the building and measures 65 metres (213 ft) by 48.5 metres (159 ft) – the largest Ferrari logo ever created. 12,370 tonnes of steel has been used to support this roof. The centre of the roof is marked by a 100-metre (330 ft) glazed funnel. The structure was declared complete on 29 October 2009 with the park due to open one year later.

Now for the rides-attractions:
